I'm a Visual Designer based in Warsaw. I create brand identities for digital products and help new companies express who they are.
It is my daily job and my passion.
It is the air I breathe.
Here’s a longer and more official-sounding version:
"Iryna Nezhynska is a Visual Designer with a strong focus on brand identities for digital products and the lean branding for startups.
Currently she works as a Senior Visual Designer at Upnext, Warsaw-based software agency, where she takes care of brand identities for (mostly) fintech and proximity-based products.
She spends most of her free time spreading the idea of lean branding for startups. "It is time to change the common startup mindset that branding is always a long and expensive process that is available only for big companies”, she says. "It used to be, but that is no longer true. Today, even if you are short on time and money, you can build a brand that makes your business stand out on the overcrowded market and that turn your early adopters into your brand ambassadors."
She is best known for the Designer's Guide to Startup Weekend - a brief guide full of tips for young designers how to participate in startup events and hackathons. It got a Honourable Mention on Slideshare, Twitter and Facebook and was later featured in the Infinite Icon as one of best icon-based designs worldwide.
Recently she has published the Entrepreneur's guide to building a memorable startup brand that became the foundation for the full-day workshop on lean branding - a part of Startup Weekend Warsaw warmup."
Right now I'm:
⟶ working on the mentioned above full-day workshop and the upcoming Startup Branding Toolkit;
⟶ refining a new article for Smashing Magazine (if you are a designer, you will definitely find my previous article useful for your own workflow);
⟶ reading Articulating Design Decisions by Tom Greever;
⟶ these days - enjoying talks and meeting old friends on UX Alive conference.
